SelectConnect Technology’s Laser Direct Structuring (LDS) Technology offers flexibility and geometric 3D design freedom in making antenna products beyond the previously often used flex circuit based antenna technologies.
Using our LPKF Microline 3D laser system, our LDS technology allows the transfer of the antenna design from CAD data onto a molded antenna carrier or even directly onto the device structure.
Laser Direct Structuring (LDS) technology is the most capable 3D antenna manufacturing technology on the market and produces high-performing 3D antennas.
The laser beam transfers the antenna design directly onto a molded 3D surface, making prototyping and production processes quicker. It enables 3D design freedom and flexibility with quick alterations during the project phase, design freezing during the late project phase and the ability to fine-tune the design during production to comply stringent carrier requirements.
The production process is quick and easy to implement with low customer-specific tooling costs.
